Job Description This position is at ATARS Kirtland AFB, NM
Governing CBA in place. Various shifts.
Provides flight instruction to active duty aircrew in systems, operations and procedures in the classroom, simulator and with static aircraft on the flight line. Assist instructional systems designers a subject matter expert in the development of classroom and simulator lessons and student and instructor guides, and other training data. Performs other related duties as directed by Training System IPT Lead and /or the CV-22 Chief Instructor.
Basic Qualifications Posses a minimum of a Bachelor Degree from an accredited school/college.
Currency in U.S. Military Aircraft within previous 4 years or within previous 6 years, if candidate has performed 11 years military operational flying duty at the time of hire.
Must have working knowledge of all appropriate current MAJCOM (AFSOC) regulations.
Must understand, speak, read and write English for effective communications with crewmembers.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requrements for access to classified information.
Desired skills Previous CV-22 experience.
Previous experience in Terrain Following/Terrain Avoidance Radar, Enhanced Navigation Systems and Electronic Warfare/MATT systems operations.
100 hours PAI time after upgrade to aircraft commander, of which 50 hours is primary time
Previous ATD Instructor experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Current DoD Secret Clearance.
