Title: Diet Technician-req#1300484
Collaborates with the Clinical Nutrition Team and members of the health care team in providing medical nutrition therapy. Identifies new admitted patients at high nutrition risk based on prioritized criteria outlined by the Clinical Nutrition Team and the Food and Nutrition Services Director. Assesses nutritional status and identifies high priority cases for the Clinical Nutrition Team. Provides timely follow-up monitoring / reassessment of patients identified to be at low / moderate risk. Fosters continuity of care among all phases across the continuum of care. Provides Basic Nutrition education to patient and family under the supervision of the Nutritional Services Manager.
High School Diploma or equivalent, Junior Collage/Technician School Preferred.
Minimum work experience of 1 to 3 years in the clinical area or equivalent.
High School Diploma. Graduate of Diet Technology or Medical Technologoy preferred
