Job Description Part time HC/MC-130J Pilot Subject Matter Expert (SME) position providing knowledge and material for training production including but not limited to: Training Change Proposal (TCP) support, development and maintenance of training media/guides, development and maintenance of training task list items (TTLs), Syllabus of Instruction (SOI) review, simulator scenario development and publication change impact analysis for training.
Helps to analyze training tasks and design lessons with Instructional Systems Designers.
Reviews lesson materials to ensure technical accuracy, standards compliance and effective presentation.
This position will be filled in support of the HC/MC-130J instructor upgrade courseware effort.
Performs other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications Demonstrated Pilot experience with the HC/MC-130J or a similar airframe.
Experience with technical orders and related documentation.
Experience in a skill-based training environment.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills.

Desired skills Experience in HC/MC-130J training.
Knowledge of C-130 variants and fixed wing style aircraft.
Experience in courseware design and development of special operations or combat rescue fixed wing and/or helicopter aircraft and mission.
Understanding of instructional design principles.
Hands on experience with technical writing and editing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Active DoD Secret clearance or equivalent.
